This year we attended the bonfire night at the 'Singing Sand Dunes.' It's located about 35 minutes away and was attended by about 600-700 I would guess. We went while there was still daylight, but once it got dark, the bonfire was lit and we were all led with carols. It was a really nice event to be part of. They even had a Santa in a tent for the children to visit.
