Setting up the house part 2

Everything in Doha is a shade of brown. That includes the interior and exterior of all buildings. I usually like the warm tones of brown, but am having symptoms of color deprivation. So I've had to step out of my comfort zone and choose bolder colors for living spaces. We chose a green for the dining room.... and love the way it turned out.Yes, the master bedroom is a shade of orange. Hoping to get some white curtains to accent.
Maddie has a sage green for her bedroom....

First Day of School

The Mall

The hours to go shopping take some navigation, especially if you want to shop on Fridays. Today we were eating breakfast at a restaurant, which had to close for the call to prayer. They let us pay our bill and continue to eat, but offered no service during this time. Some shops close their entrances and turn off the lights during call to prayer, but you can still go in. We're still working it all out.

This mall has a canal running through it. This is the same mall where Stuart plays ice hockey.

The local dress is women in black and men in white thobes.
