Flying into Doha

We were flying in around 6pm and here is our first view of Doha....

Stop over in Washington DC

We arrived in Washington DC and had missed our connecting flight so we spent the night. This allowed us a short time to go and see the key sights in the city.





And then it was time to load the luggage and head back to the airport.

Farewell Port Orchard

Before leaving Port Orchard, we cleaned up the yard and took a moment to reflect on the projects completed.

Goulash Perfected

With the new flagpole in place and the goulash recipe improved, we were able enjoy a last cookout before leaving the country.

The Hungarian Flag

The flag pole is up, but all we had was a Hungarian flag!

The Raising of the Flag Pole

After finding a log on the beach, hauling it up onto the property, cleaning it and painting it, we were finally ready to raise the flagpole.
